Josh & Morgan's Spring Vintage Boho Wedding at Emerson Fields
Morgan & Josh’s wedding day at the stunning Emerson Fields is one I’ve been eager to share since arriving this past Saturday. Immense thought was put into every little detail of this day, from the bride herself’s calligraphy to the perfect little wax seals on the menus. No detail went unnoticed. Not to mention the care and thought Emerson Fields puts into every one of their couple’s wedding days.
Morgan is one of the most genuine brides I’ve had the honor of working with, and Josh’s love for Morgan and her happiness is ever so apparent. If you’d ask Josh if he was doing okay, his answer would be, “If Morgan is good, I’m good.” Spoken like a true gentleman.
Favorite Moments & Details
Seeing Morgan’s gown from Cleo Bridal for the first time— Just wow! Her vintage boho gown with lace sleeves and tulle skirt just fit her personality and kind spirit to a T. When she put on her wedding dress, I was in awe. It was just so fitting for this sweet bride.
Morgan and her father, Tony’s, first look— The happy tears gave me goosebumps. It was apparent just how close knit this family is, and Morgan’s gift to her dad was the perfect touch. She gave him a tie to wear that day, complete with a photo printed on the back of the two of him when she was a little girl. Cue the tears!
Josh and Morgan’s first look— Again, the best kind of tears on a wedding day. The way Josh looked at his bride is everything a girl could ever dream of. They had personal, handwritten notes they read aloud to one another, and I have no doubt those moments are ones they’ll remember forever.
Morgan and Josh’s vows— Alongside the traditional vows, these two had some personal words and vows they wanted to share with each other and those closest to them. There’s just nothing quite like hearing a couple profess their love and promises to one another on their wedding day.
Late evening portraits— Obviously bride and groom portraits are always a favorite, but we are so glad Mr. & Mrs. Spencer opted to go back out for more portraits at the end of the day as guests were departing. They were able to be relaxed and soak in the time with one another in the beautiful outdoors around Emerson Fields.
